Jessica Ortiz, LCPC, LMHC
Jessica holds a clinical license in both Kansas and Washington state. Her experience began in the child welfare system, leading to her work in community mental health as a Child and Family Therapist and a clinical supervisor. Her vast array of experience ranges from the common experiences of depression and anxiety to working with youth in the JRA system and homeless young adults.
Therapeutic Approach
Jessica’s work utilizes evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and motivational enhancement theories and techniques.
